“Earth 2100” is a film/documentary about the consequences of the wrong behavior of our civilizations in this world.

The topic describes the effects of global warming. Other topic is about the falling of the ancient’s civilizations Mayas, Roman´s and Easter Island. And at least is the view of the earth in the 2100 Ac.

 

In this film the author did created a fictions character named Lucy, she born in the year 2009 and it becomes the narrator of the story of USA in the following 100 years. The movie starts very slowly and make me the impression of a hard nationalism point of view; it’s more like propaganda than a deep message, but also makes an another perspective of the actual reality, because show us the fact that all before civilizations has an end, is a cycle view of life.

Another day I was listen the radio and the announcer speak about the Britannic scientist Stephen Hawking, and he said than the mankind will going to populate Mars in about 50 years more, the first thing that came to my mind was there is not the solutions to our problems, and we can´t think we have another earth to spend        . The film teaches us if we don’t change the way of consume the natural resources we are gone had bad times.

The film has many wrong information or not exactly, but it is a way to start a green thinking and put a time clock to the human race, also have a good screenplay and a excellent narrative.

1. Green buildings are not the solutions if the not responding to a big urban plan.

 

2. When we will be run out of oil, big cities are not going to work anymore.

3. The earth is not designed to us, we have a limit of human and is not to big enough.

About me

     Hi, I’m Daniel, an architecture student, I’m Chilean and I live in Santiago. In the beginning of summer I went to the beach with my classmates from college, this, we were almost 60 people in six cottages for three days, the beach is called El Tabo and we had a lot of fun, the lessee charged us a lot of money in respect of damage, but it was totally worth it.
     I live in Pirque, is the south of Santiago and is a rural/suburban zone, is very boring all the time, it only has a few places to go, so I had to play with dirt in my yard for fun or just go outside of my house all the time if I want to have fun, I once went to the lake in the mountains to fish, it´s called embalse del yeso, a beautiful place outside of the city. I have a twin, most of my friend do not believe me, we tried to learn how to drive, but he don´t have skills, we almost die in his lessons, so finally we are just a user of public traffic.
    In the end of my vacations, I went to rancagua with clasmates from usach, we had a great time, specially in the beer party, but I dont remember most of it. Before starting my vacations, I promised myself to learn how to use photoshop and other programs from my carreer, but that were all lies.
